This is Brociuz's pic.

Mine is very similar but if anything a little bluer.

I'm not sure if i should put on my 8000k replacement to even out the colors.

lol shouldn't you get 5000k LEDs to even out with the HIDs instead of replacing the HIDs to even out the little LED light?

just my thought

not sure if it's cause of the camera phone.. but looks like the 2W LEDs that brociouz recommended are better

lol these are MUCH brighter than the stock puddle lights!
big if u havent done this mod it is a MUST do cause it makes ur car much nicer at night!
the original puddle lights shine more on the door only, these LEDs shine all the way down and lights up the ground and lights it up!

take a look at this thread to see more comparisons

SMT and SMD are pretty much marketing terms. Don't pay attention to them.

The actual color of bulbs and LEDs will of course vary from brand to brand even for the same rated color temp. Even the same brands will look different if you get a bad batch. The color of HID bulbs also change over time (color shifting). There are so many variables. All I can say is that Garax 6000K and V-LED 6000K are pretty close.

Yes, the V-LED high power puddle lights are a LOT brighter than stock. The whole side of my car glows blue when they're on.

DAmn brighter is nice. Havent done this mod yet, im thinking about it but im also looking at my budget as well. Dont know what to do first, replace my HIDs or get some LEDS. My interior front dome LEDS have been out for a while now just havent got to them.

i say do both HIDs and LEDs at the same time!
the LEDs aren't too expensive
you can just get the puddle lights from v-leds and get all other LEDs off ebay to save money if brightness isn't your main concern for other parts of your car.
HIDs aren't too expensive either, I got my set of slim ballast kit for $90 cad, although they are no-name brands, but a lot of my friends have been using them for a few years with no issues!
i've heard a place has HID kits for $30 and they still run fine! that would be crazy! cheaper than getting LEDs!

Hmmmmm, I got stock HID so i just need the bulbs. The members say that Garax is a good brand but they will run me $85.99 and if i get LEDS then i will be spending close to $130 if i get everything from V-leds

The 8000k low replacement bulb will be used as a backup to the current low beam.

Bought the parking light to replace my amber oems, i knew they might be a slight blue to them but this is more than expected.

^ I use my V-LED 13 SMT parking lights and a custom LED DRL strip. Both in 6000K color.
