If I were u, I would go 235/35Front + 275/30Rear combo. You shouldn't need to do any fender mod on the front and the rear with this combo.

So I bought some wheels that are 20x9.5 front and 20x10.5 I don't know the offset... Took it to discount tire and they put 235/30/20 front and 305/25/20... Hauling my stock 18" that we're off my Lexus is250 and two other person it started rubbing... what's the best size for no rub/bumps what so ever if any?

I have 235/35/19 front and 275/35/19 back and only barely rub just on the front when u turn fairly sharp on a stock is350. Back has yet to rub and iv had 5 people in my car. 30 series is alittle to thin for my comfort unless ur going to lower it

Lowered on coilover , left 2 fingers gap...

How many mm spacer should i add and to prevent it from rubbing as i dont plan to roll the fender yet.

15 front and 20mm rear?

Spacers will push the wheels out, making the rubbing worse. If you are rubbing now and don't want to mod your fenders then you need skinnier tires.

thanks for the reply, could you please suggest what is a good specs for 18 and 19 wheels, lowered to 1/2 to no finger gap without fender mod??
if i not mistaken, 18x8.5 & 18x9.5 +30 to +40 and 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 +30-40 should be ok?? please correct me if im wrong. does the wheels width/ size even matters in this case?

How would these fit on an IS350? I'm looking for a flush appearance. I plan on lowering the car 1 inch with an eibach pro kit just to close the gap between the tire and fender.

Front 20x9 +30
Rear 20x10 +40


Also, what tire size recommendations would you make?

Base on my experience, I have

19 x 8.5 +35 235/35/19
19 x 9.5 +35 255/30/19
Lowered about 1 inch

Under extreme driving, I had very very minor rubbing on the front fender liners that can be cured by heatgun. No rubbing at all in the rear but it is a close call.

Consider your spec of rims and tires, if you don't want to risk modifying your fenders, I would go with 15mm Front and 15 mm Back at max. Or 10front 10rear just to be on the safe side. When you are running on the verge of rubbing, It will depend on your brand of tire as well. For example, under the same size of tire, Hankook V12 has quite round shoulder that helps avoiding the rub. FK452 has agressive square shoulder so it is more likely to rub same as Yokohama S-Drive.

20mm in the back with 265/30/19 is too high of the risk of rubbing the rear fender. You might not be alble to get away with even 15mm on the rears. Try it and let us know

You're definitely going to rub with 15mm spacer and no roll. Just get the fenders rolled and go all out. It's really not a big deal. No one would ever know mine are rolled if I return my car back to stock.
