awww ... i'd prefer not to have wheel spacers ... any negative side effects with wheel spacers?

ahh, I get it. Yes I have stock 18s ... since the specs for stocks are 18 x 8.0 front, 18 x 8.5 rear, I'm guessing the rear would be tucked in the same way as I have now, but just 19s as you said ... look the same from behind but better from the sides =)

Sigh ... I wish he was selling them 19x9.5s ... then I wouldn't have to go through with spacers and such.

you wont rub with this set up and yes you can run a spacer in the rear to push it out. really you are better to get a set that you want. IMO get a wider rim and the right offset for the car. This is a good set up for AWD owners that dont want to get a staggered set up. It will work if you want them that bad. I would get a 9.5" wide rim for the rear if you are going aftermarket. You will appreciate the ride and how the car handles.

Good to know. Yea, I'd rather play it safe and not regret it in the future, plus it's not like I have a bunch of dough laying around.

It seems like 19in. TE37s are really hard to come by. I'd rather purchase them used than to buy them new since I'm sure there's a long waiting list AND they'd be a lot more expensive.

I'm sure the turnaround time is in months....so if you're gonna order new, be expect to wait a few months.

19x8.5 +36 front and 19/9.5 +37 rear

is that good enough? aggressive look?

is there gonna be any rubbing issues?

IMO 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 +22 all around, I think that's a perfect setup. Here's an example but johnnyboy is using a 5mm spacer so you'll get the idea.

Do 19x9.5s in the rear usually require fender modifications? or does it depend on the offset you get also?

depends on your offset... i ran 19x9 before with +38 offset using 235/35... no rubbing or whatsoever running on S-Techs... so i guess it's fine....

So say if I don't care about the absolute flush look to the fender ... would running a non staggered setup affect the ISx50? Since the stock 18s are staggered.

thanks for the patience guys!

so +22 is the offset where the lip will be flush with body? you would'nt have to pull/roll fenders if you dont dump the car though right? if you just have a nice drop, maybe 1/2" from wheel well to wheel will it still rub?

+22 is very aggressive for the 2IS. If you are even slightly worried about rubbing, I would not go that aggresive. If you do, you will have to stretch your tires and get the fenders cut/shaved. I highly advise you not to pull/roll on our cars though. I've seen some bad outcomes from it. Even all the shops I've been to so far, refused to roll on my car. 19x8.5, 19x9.5 with about +35 front and back is popular since it's pretty much the most you can go without shaving.
