unless you want the "strech' look then go with 275/30 You will be just fine!

If you want to get agressive you can go 275/35 like i did and roll your rear fenders!

Good luck. Search my post and see my wheel set up in the aftermarket thread..page 103?? or something like that.

Default Any possiblity of making these wheels work?

Ive had these 2 week old custom 20" Asanti's sitting in my garage for the past month. Theres two problems though:

1. They fit a BMW 5 series (5x120 bolt pattern)
2. Two of them are bent (hence why they're sitting in my garage)

Now I'm sure it would be a small fortune to get them repaired, but I'm sure it would be cheaper then the $8000 price tag they came with. My biggest question is ofcourse if anyone makes lug adapters that I could use to achieve that 5x120 bolt pattern, or if it would even be worth pursuing? I'd hate to see these beauties go to waste!

That Lip is so HOT...

here is a place that should make them custom for you. the question is going to be with them on and the offset of those rims will they fit? BMW has some pretty aggressive offsets.

Ok so I tried to decode the serial numbers on the back of the wheels and this is what I got.

AF144205120ET25RF and AF144205120ET20RE

So I'm assuming the offsets for the front wheels are +25 and the rear wheels are +20? The "ET" means offset right?

If they are in fact +25 and +20, any chance in making this work? I have no clue about offsets or anything like that. WHEEL EXPERTS I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Ehh I'll hafta get back to you on that. The tires that are on there now are 245/35 and 285/30 if that helps any. If I had to guess I would say 20x8.5 and 20x10.

to answer your question, yes, even with a drop thats a mild offset for 8.5" rims and you'll have no problems running the 'big tire' look that you guys on da mainland like so much.

BUT~

why not staggard rims?

don't be jealous

I agree with llamaboiz that you are fine with the rim width and offset. why not a wider rim in the rear? 19 x 8.5 +35 front and 19 x 10 +38 would look sick and work! Nice and flush with out having to stretch the tires like the cool guys *cough* i mean llamaboiz likes it

You have options here and many to help you out

Good luck on your search!

i doubt you will rub with a +40 offset. your fronts are fine, you can even go 235/35 but if your worried about the rear, go with a 265/30 or even a 265/35
