Will do. "heartmyis" actually recommended the wrap and told me about a place here in the Bay that does it. I called them and he quoted me a price of $70. He can't guarantee it won't chip or bubble, but I've heard good things about the wrap. Any problems you guys have heard of? It's only 2mm he claimed.

Will do it in a few weeks and then I'll post some pics.

DO NOT PAINT IT. I painted mine and it chipped VERY BAD! 2 weekends ago I wrapped my grill with a matte black vinyl from aerotect.....and its the ONLY way to go.

how did you wrap it? is the vinyl from aerotect prep-cut? im asking because dont we need to cut into the middle of the vinyl in order to wrap the grill?

if you go to a bodyshop and tell them to use lexus paint to paint the grill and clear it.. they are going to sand it before they do..
its kinda pricy but it wont get chipped easily. just like ur bumpers and hood..
if you use spray paint they are gonna chip for sure no matter what u do..
another way is to wrap it just like nitelex said.. i believe aerotect even have carbonfiber wrap for the grill also..

Trixx....Yes as I stated, the wrap is from aerotect. Order bulk, and once you lay it on and get it semi molded aroundt he edges you will cut in the middle. Its really not as hard as you think. Fairly easy and it only costs you about $25 after shipping. Who wouldn't do this?

Just don't use a lot of primer, this is what will ruin the clear coat/ shine later on when you decide to remove it.

Do you guys get a body shop to wrap it or can this be done by yourself? Is there a DIY? Thanks!

Haha thanks!

I'm looking at their site:

http://aerotect.net/catalog/product_...f1b3d530a4994a

Anyone know how much "quantity" I would need? Would 3 quanity be enough (example: 54" by 3 feet). Thanks.
