Default Is is a Belt or Pulley, something is MAKING a NOISE!

When i start me car and its in PARK, there is no Noise; however once I place it into Drive and it drops slightly below 1RPM it starts making this whistling noise like a belt or pulley is loose or something.

Its not loud, just kind of annoying and I want to make sure its not serious. The noise stops as soon as I am above 1RPM. I thought it had something to do with the A/C, but it does it with it off as well.

Any suggestions, Im having the dealer check it out next week.

I don't think it's a belt problem. If it was you'll hear it on start up. Where exactly is the noise coming from? Front left, right, top, bottom?

What did the dealer end up saying the issue was? I'm having the same problem. I text messaged a mechanic friend on mine and he said it sounded like a dry cracked serpentine belt to him. Is that not it? I'm wanting to fix this myself if possible.

They didn't reall diagnose the problem, but after having my drivetrain belt changed it stopped...so i assume that was the problem...
