JDM Engine Swap Problem
Hey Guys i'm very new here and i've had this problem for about a year now and i need help, so il jump into it..
got a 2007 IS250 from a co worker for $300 bc they were moving.. they said the car ran really rough.... it blew the engine when i drove it home...
i bought a used JDM 4GR Engine and decided to install myself. ive installed 3 engines into my rx8 (IYKYK) and helped my buddy with his car so i feel i mechanically could do the job
My ORIGINAL ECU!!! got damaged from water spilling on it, so used the jdm one..
my car will go into acc mode but will not CRANK..
i replaced :
Battery
crankshaft position sensor
all fuses and link
idk if i need to get the vehicle specific ECU from flagship one or im missing something but im so lost in this project
if anyone did a jdm swap and can tell me how it went that would be amazing
hope you guys can help!!

yes the JDM ECU is #89666-22070
it looks like the one i need is VIN specific and it is # 89661-53820
i'm buying it tomorrow so we will see. i cant imagine it being anything else. the dealership mentioned it was a 8k job but i think we all know how easy it is to change this part

Check your grounds, specifically the ones that clamp up to the spot behind/below the intake air filter box
