A new Lexus has a -4- year warranty bumper to bumper, and 6 years on the powertrain (engine/transmission mainly).
This ought to be covered under either if the problem is carbon build-up in the engine.
(mileage limits respectively are 50,000 miles and 70,000 miles)
USED but certified Lexus vehicles have a 3 year warranty from date of used sale (up to 100k miles).
You can buy the Lexus extended warranty on any Lexus that is still in its original 4 yr/50k mile warranty period.
Oh, and the brand of gas you use won't make a difference... from everything I've read so far it's a problem with the design of the DI-only engine... which is why 350s don't have this problem.

^^ Kurtz is 100% about the warranty and the gas, carbon build-up is just a normal thing in engines...
I am not too familiar about carbon build-up on these DI engines, but I do know that if it gets bad enough to get on the throttle body, you will get a slightly rougher and lower idle (really bad on Toyota 4-cyl engines)...as soon as we do an upper induction service and clean the throttle body, problem gone...
Now don't get too overboard with this service...if it isn't covered under warranty, it could be $100 or more at a dealership...and if you plan on doing it yourself, if done wrong you can hydrolock your engine...

I am trying to give good advise, not bad advise like just throwing a can of seafoam into the vacuum line...if you add any induction cleaning product too fast, you will hydrolock the engine...seafoam's own website warns people about adding it too fast, check it out...
easily done yourself, just be careful...

Being that this is a fuel problem isn't there an emissions’ warranty? If I’m not mistaken it’s a longer warranty! Also being that this is clearly a design problem it should be actionable. Toyota doesn't need any more warranty issues!

exactly! the tech clearly said it's a design issue. lexus/toyota can't afford anymore issues right now or ever for that matter.
