Hey there, I found this trunk lip on EBay that actually looked pretty decent. Is it really safe to buy this kind of car product off of Ebay? The seller had a 99% satisfaction rate. Also, I have a Black Onyx Lexus and he only has the paint color of Black Obsidian... Is that close enough? I just want to make sure I will be getting the product that is in the pictures .

... and it's free shipping which makes it even better, but I have heard that Obsidian Black and Black Onyx are pretty similar. Would you not recommend using an Obsidian Black on Black Onyx?

They are similar, but still different. Some folks here at CL will rock both or only one. It's your choice, my personal preference is get the matching color

I bought a painted lip spoiler off eBay about 2 months ago and I am really happy with it. Its only $102.00 and includes free shipping as well. I bought a Tungsten Pearl one...

Spoiler came with double sided tape attached to it and a screw on installation kit. Color and quality is A LOT better than I thought it would be..... I lucked out! I installed it myself with no problems. Below is a link to the seller.... He also sells unpainted spoilers for $80 i think?? Check it out

Yes, you can contact the eBay seller through the purchase transaction or just send him a message by clicking on the username. I think the seller asks for your specific color code

Im pretty sure fitment is like oem (dont know the specs)......it looks like oem and fits on the trunk like a glove

I've been looking for a rear spoiler and also have a Black Onyx IS, and found this listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Paint...item4a9ecee99e

It's one of the few sellers I've seen that offers Black Onyx (202) and his feedback looks to be pretty good. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

If you do end up buying this one, please tell me how it turns out! I usually just look at the satisfaction rate and how many they have sold. I think this one does look a little different from the OEM spoiler though
