Alot of dealers do packages and add on mark-ups. This dealer however has created the illusion that there is another "model" of the IS.....the GT.

Badge-engineered for maximum profit-gouging.

I'm surprised they didn't use a Type-R badge. At least if they put a TRD badge it would've been sorta (not really) OK.

10K for the "McGrath package"? I would never pay that kind of money for what they put on that car!!!! Now if it came with one of those faux rag tops, I would probably jump on it!!!!

DAMN! I was just gonna post pics of this!! Oh Mcgrath Lexus.. How classy you are. I was just there Wednesday getting my 20k service and could not believe how UGLY this thing is at that price!!

Oh and this is the same dealer who rotated the tires on my 350! I couldnt believe they did that! I know they are used to the IS250 AWD's here in Chicago but COME ON!

I even drove 5 miles away cuz I was in a hurry when I noticed the rubbing noise and called the Service manager and they are giving me free 30k service... lol

Hahaha! Like someone said before.....for that price.......you might as well buy an ISF. It even looks like the dealer just rebadged everything and decided to call it a "IS GT."

ive never seen any dealer try to add their own personalized package and label it as their own. although a good attempt, and it may in fact fool some people, the fact of the matter is...51k for an IS250?! umm, easily trade that GT badge for an F badge!

It's going to be a real challenge to sell that car - who's going to finance an IS250 with a $51k selling price?

Dealers have been doing this since the beginning of car sales. Ever heard of a Yenko Camaro? They actually pull a premium from collectors.

what a joke. This honestly makes me kinda mad. I dont want anyone beinig screwed over by these guys. 10K for cheap mods.

If you say 10k in mods im expecting atleast vertex kit (painted) $1800, exhaust $600, jdm visors $300, and Coils $1000, and 19" enkei and tires $2500. Still make roughly $3000K profit for saying it was $10000 in mods.
