Hey guys looking for a little advise, Long story short I bought a set of HIDs (not a known brand) for my headlights(8k) and fogs(3k). Installed them both and all was well but a few days into it the driver side headlight started to flicker and would turn off like the bulb was burned out but turn the headlights off then on and it would do the trick. Contacted the store where I bought them and all they said was the probably due with OBD(on board computer) and should be like the german cars, so they send me an additional extension because the OBD might be mixing up the halogen and the HID signals? so I installed them along with the ballasts. The next day when I drove to the store it was fine but on the way back it did it again but this time the passenger side headlight wouldnt stay on for long...

I called the store again and they said it maybe due to the IS's lighting harness and modern setup, it'd be better off with the slim ballasts oppose to the original fat ones they sent me. Installed them and the problem went away till now that its been approximately 6-7 months and the problem came back. Keep in mind throughout this whole time there was no error signals nor messages on my dash...

Can someone help and tell me what could be the problem? I've installed many HID's kits on my older cars but should I change the whole setup and buy something from a known vendor? or can there be a solution to my problem..?

Many THNX in advance!!

This happened to me too! After a little while though the bulb burnt out so I think you may be headed that way too.
