Default Tire wear on inside edge?

I've noticed the tires on my car are wearing on the extreme inside edges (the innermost 1-1/2" of tread -- no wear on sidewall). No evidence of cupping, ride is still perfectly smooth but it seems like a tremendous waste of tire as the whole of the tire still looks like new. 20k miles. Normal?

It depends on what type of tires you have. (Summer, All-seasons, Winter, etc.)

Mine (BFG A/S SuperSport Fronts) are wearing on the outside edges. I'll have the front end adjusted with the next set of tires. I'll be going with the all-season Continentals. I'm hearing really good things about them.
