no only the 8 North American made Toyota models are affected.

Which now seems bogus. The North American Toyota president was on Fox Business News on Monday afternoon saying they focussed too much on the floor mat as the problem and not following the issue through to the sticky pedal conclusion. So if the IS's are not being recalled for the sticky pedal issue why are they still being recalled for the floormat issue (which seems to be a red herring)? Toyota/Lexus has been very unclear on how these issues are related. And for that I fault them.
