i'm going to pick up a new set of rims this week and was wondering where everyone was getting their tpms kits for their aftermarket wheels from?

Not sure how the Lexus TPMS system is but you may need to have them (assigned to your car) at least the case with the BMW TPMS.

i know some people said you can buy spare ones on ebay for pretty cheap just might have to get them programmed by dealer.

gotcha. i know for gs you can program two sets of tpms and toggle a switch between them. if they have that feature in the 2is as well, then i think getting another set of factory tpms would be a good idea

yeah, i was thinking about getting a cheap kit from ebay or something and then getting it programmed by the dealer. i do believe our 2IS have the toggle switch as well. anyone purchase a kit online that they can recommend?

yep, you can have two sets programmed. you switch between them on the button/switch above the gas/trunk release.

I don't have a button above the gas and trunk release, this is a 09 IS AWD.

Don't the system just recognize the two sets of TPMS programmed to the car so which ever set is on it will know?
