Cept almost all the difference there is, is in the nav system.

They can always do a special order for you, however, it is a 3 month process since you are in CA, and a very lengthy one! I had to wait 4 months since I am on the east coast and I just got my IS-C last Wed, and I had ordered it on Aug 10th. It is a miserable wait, but if it is really something you want, it is worth it.
Just for contrast, when I special ordered it only took 2.5 months (and I'm on the east coast as well)... I ordered mid-July and picked my car up very begining of October... either way though, if you're gonna spend 30-40k, why not get exactly what you want?

I highly recommend the nav system. I wouldn't get this car without it.

Unless your paying cash for the car adding $2k to the cost of the car will run you what $20-40 extra month. Doesn't break the bank for most folks. But if it does break the bank you might need to look to a cheaper car.

As a previous 350 owner, allow me to put some things into perspective for you. You say it's no big deal but think about this. The IS250 is arguably the slowest, V6 powered sedan on the market today. In contrast, the IS350 is arguably the fastest V6 powered sedan on the market today. The V6 in the 250 is tiny and there are 4 cylinders on the market that are larger. I would do everything possible to get the 350. Personally, I wouldn't settle, you may end up very disappointed.

2010s offer bluetooth without nav actually

Backup camera'd be pretty worthwhile if you back out a lot around kids though I guess

3 years ago it was flat out the fastest luxury sedan < $50k or so on the market when the 330i was still out.

With the advent of the 335i it's more of a shared throne with maybe a hair of an edge going to the 335i. g35 6mt is almost there, g37 is same as g35 6mt (maybe even a tad slower sadly).

You know what I'm really interested about is how the new acura TL stands up (yeah the beak looking one). They gave it just north of 300 horses this time around and I don't see much performance data on it.
