Default Taking my new IS to snow

Hello guys,
i just bought 2010 IS250 RWD and i want to take it to snow for snowboarding.
I live in Los Angeles and to get to big bear or mountain high, snow chain is required. I was thinking Thule CS10. However, is there any chance that the snow chain can damage my car? it's brand new car so i want to be caution.

if you check out the manual it lists what chains to use and all the precautions. i have my 09 IS250 RWD up in the snow in pittsburgh but if theres snow on the road, i cant drive cause i have my performance tires still on from my lovely florida driving that im used to..
