Also FYI, you can drive the car without the key anywhere around the car. So if you leave the engine running and walk away with the key, anyone can take your car and keep driving - until they turn it off of course. So just be careful. Oh and always keep that "keypad" in your pocket.

lol same thing happen to me in my Integra but with the wheel lock key.

Thinking the same thing. The car only beeps 2-3 times if you walk away with the key. Funny thing is, if the sunroof shade is closed, the car wouldn't start with the key on the roof anyway.

You have your spare, right? New one is hundreds of $$.

bargain with them. i talked the parts department down, and they offered me 180 for the keypad thingy. and 15 to cut it.
