Let me guess you bought yours off of eBay didn't you? A REAL Fusa has a clip to unhook it. If yours doesn't, then it's obvious yours is a fake. Sorry buddy.

"FUSA" is the one of most JAPANESE style accessory.
Its origin comes from traditional festival "DANJIRI" which has been held at south part of Osaka Japan from ancient days.
Just go to Auntie Anne's and pick yourself up a pretzel. I find the cinnamon sugar coated variety tends to drip sugar grains on my center console and dash. I much prefer hanging the sesame pretzel using old adidas shoelaces for that vintage and JDM look & feel. Hope this helps.
btw is this one legit then? It doesnt have the clip to hook it.

What is printed on the other side of the piece of wood? It should have two Japanese characters on it.
Also, yeah... It should have a clip/hook on top.
(I have a black/gold JP fusa.)
