few things to mention:
  • If anyone ever plans this mod and you have parking sensors on your ISX50 like me. Please note that they fit perfectly on the ISF bumper. Just make sure the side sensors go on the sides as the two side sensors are smaller than the middle ones.
  • Regarding a matching sound for the looks. Yes i am looking into upgrading exhaust very soon. And I am getting F-Sport intake kit aswell for now

ok. so i have sp2 greddy's right now but i really wanna do this since the kid who backed up into car seemed to have left a dent, meaning full bumper replacement. anyways. would they just have to chop off the greddy tips and add the bumper and tips? this would be a swweeett mod. and i dont think this is being a poser. it looks superb.

Nice work... I'm more in favor is seeing a more complete version of the car. As others have said, the rear alone is too aggressive. I'm sure you'll have a fun time trying to find the right pieces to flow with that rear bumper.

even though I think you copied the least appealing part of the IS-F I think you did a great job at pioneering this new mod. I have to give you respect man. Good job

waste of money IMO....
if you want an IS F...get one....if you want a nice sounding exhausting, then get an exhaust....why replace the rear end of one car with another just for minor looks.
its like rebadging a gs300 with a gs430 emblem.
have to say it looks good though.....

it's not a waste of money if your bumper gets ruined and the other d bag has to pay for it : P

and i have a nice sounding exhaust already but i love how the quad tips look. im definitely planning on doing this mod.

why mod your car? why put a rear lip on your bumper? why get an after market exhaust? why do anything with that type of attitude. lol

anyways, much props to OP. i love it!

I personally think it looks badass! A lot of you guys are right though, it does look like it's missing something, but awesome job nonetheless. Now if you get an exhaust I don't think it'll sit right.

Thats the reason I started this project. Someone damaged a corner of my OEM IS250 bumper in a carpark and because I dont know who did it, i didnt want to claim through insurance.

Yes. If you get a bodyshop to do it make sure they are very careful with those bumper tabs that hold the tips in place. Those tab areas are very delicate and can cause paint cracking. So to summarize:
  • Have new IS-F bumper painted (parking sensor model if you have parking sensors)
  • Remove old bumper (Save the screws and the two tabs that hold the bumper in the wheel arch area)
  • Remove the current exhaust tips
  • If you are going to keep the current exhaust then just cut it like i did to that length. (This way it stays clear from moving around and damaging bumper or even burning bumper)
  • Fit the ISF exhaust tips and reflectors to the ISF bumper
  • And finally put the bumper on the car and enjoy
