As of now nobody has modded their car for this yet. IS250/350s in Japan I think have power folding mirrors.

Find some totaled IS' and ship the mirror assemblies to us CL members
I'd buy them.

I prefer bragging about my mirrors. :P
Btw it's a button, it wont fold automatically when you switch off the car.

I have them too in the UK. but its only a button for the models before 09.
The facelifted 09 model onwards auto-fold as soon as you lock your car and when you unlock it, it unfolds.
I am currently actually working on a relay board that will tap into this button and auto fold mirrors once car is off and locked.

WTF is the deal with the US getting jipped on the cool stuff... I mean, this should be a standard option on all luxury cars. Sometimes Lexus just baffles me.

I wonder if we can retrofit a GS power folding mirror motor to work on a IS. It would be too expensive for me to try somebody tell me how it goes lol.

When you step out of your car just fold em in yourself. It'll save you some weight too as opposed to having a motor in there doing it for you.
haha

id rater leave them out because if you fold them people get closer to the car. when the mirrors are sticking out they try not to hit the mirrors and walk/park further away
