Default hellooooo ladies... and gentlemen

hey guys i'm new to this forum! i got my is awd (just leather and moonroof pkg) in july so it's been 2 months or so. i just wanna post a few pics of what i've done to my car so far. comments are most welcomed!

Aug. 17 - aerotect redouts

awesomeness.

Before

After

Aug 24 - led interior from nigel jdm.

these are hella bright! 2 in front dome, one in rear dome and one in trunk is all you need.

Before

After

Sept 11 - oracle led drls

looks great but could be brighter.

Before

After

Sept 17 - led puddle light (from warden_jp on ebay)

$5-6 bucks is all you need for these.

Before

After

that's it for me right now. upcoming cheap mods would be:
nokya hyper yellow fogs
v-leds parking light
possible v-leds drls, as i find the oracle ones a bit too dim

any ideas where i can get halogens that look like hids? lol. i heard luminics sell them but i've also read reviews saying the stock halogens were way brighter than luminic's.

thanks for spending the time to look at my thread.

Most of your mod is light related. Any plans for suspension mod?

yeah they look really great; definitely beats the stock drls in terms of looks. but like ankurman said, the oracle drls are too dim. go vleds if you want led drls, as i am going to do so in the near future haha.

haha they're the easiest ones to do. i do want to get springs for my car, but i haven't done research yet for springs on an awd. and the f sport rear sway bar has been tempting me for quite a while now!

unfortunately, the basic package is a "premium" cloth seat with no moonroof. the next package is leather and moonroof, then it's leather, moonroof and navi, and last one is the luxury package with navi.

overall, it's a really simple job. i just followed the tutorial by eddiebx here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ts-w-pics.html

beware though, i took out the first 2 screws (4 screws in each mirror) and couldnt get the housing out, so i had to take out the other bottom one to make room for me to pull out the cover and the bulb out.

whole project took about 30 mins... which was very slow compared to the time the tutorial stated... cuz i couldnt find the right screwdriver size lol and i was scared of breaking or cracking the mirror if i used to much force. i had trouble doing the first mirror, but i finished the second one in about 5 mins.
