To sum up all the threads on it, this absolutely should be covered by the factory bumper-to-bumper warranty so your dealer is lying. This is NOT covered by any extended Lexus warranty, including CPO and all VSAs. You'll find quite a few people on these threads that were under factory warranty and had no issue getting it fixed free of charge. Since yours is a 2009 you should still be under factory warranty, so take it to a different dealer.

I just uploaded some of the pictures that I have to my original post and I will put the rest here. They are in no particular order. I would suggest that you get a couple of extra clips as they are pretty much one use pieces, if you make a mistake and have to take one off most of the time they are no good anymore.

Do you know if 75545-53011 is a different part? That's what I see in the Sewell diagrams.

That part number is for the pop rivet that attaches the round white piece to the window frame. You can see the piece in the first picture on post #4. You should not need that part unless your molding got really screwed up.

No it's not. 75545-53011 replaces 75545-53010, they're the same part.

75547-51021 (PNC 75547E in that diagram) is the part number for the rivets.

Thanks for the clarification Jeff - I guess I can read part diagrams after all. So are 75545-53011 and 75545-53010 identical? Or is 53011 an improved design?

I don't know if it's improved or not. I doubt it, I mean it looks fairly simple.
