Default Redouts

So I got some redouts and put them on my car this afternoon. Not knowing what to expect as far as installation goes, I installed one side which went pretty easily but had one tiny crease. Barely even noticable. Now I knew what to expect for the other side which went on much easier and came out perfect. So of course I want both sides to be perfect now. So the question to you guys is, has anyone tried to take off some redouts? Is it easy and do they come of smoothly with no residue? They are cheap enough to try again and get both side perfect if that is the case.

where did u get them from ? i tried to stretch out the red outs, but it will only make it worse. If you got them from r-vinyl, i heard people just contact them n tell them that you messed up on the install and they will send you an extra set.

That or just purchase another set, its pretty inexpensive. Good luck n show some pics of your work =)

I am not concerned about getting a new set of redouts, I just don't want to take the ones I have off now and realize that I shouldn't have because the ones that are on are way to difficult to pull off.

take a dull blade and start peeling it off at the corner. lubricate it with some water/baby shampoo solution and start to peel more and more. see if this does the trick, if not just purchase another set from aero-tect. it's really cheap

use a heat gun to soften up the adhesive and clean residue with prepall or gasoline.

You can certainly remove them, but you'll need a new one afterwards. It's held on with adhesive. You can clean it with simple disposable alcohol wipes.
