Yup, just called Longo Lexus and they said they only use Mobile non-Synthetic oil. They use synthetic only if the customer requests it. 5W-30 is what I'll be using.

my dad and i use 5w-30 extended performance by mobil 1. it's been very reliable for all the toyota/ lexus cars we've owned. for the F though, i recently switched to 0w-30. my mechanic (third party mechanic) utilizes the 0w-20/30 for all high performance vehicles at his shop

After trying the 5w-20 Mobile 1, I'm back to using the 5w-30 for my IS350. The only thing I'm doing different now is - not using the 3rd party filter, even if it's cheap. Just found out that eBay is selling the bulk toyota/lexus YZZA3's pack of 10 for $55....$5.55 vs $17 at Lexus dealer. Toyota dealers are now refusing to match the part numbers on purpose

Use Mobile 1 Synthetic, and also make sure that you get the OEM dealer filter. You can buy it at Toyota - Part number is: YZZA3

I use pennzoil platinum 5w30. After countless researching on this topic it seems to be the best all around weight for daily. Also depends on your climate location..
