Default Leather Seats in Is with ventilated seats

I sat in a 2IS with ventilated seats yesterday and i found the seats were more comfortable then the seats in my 2IS without the option...
is there suppose to be a difference between the two besides the lil holes?

i guess i love my ventilated seats i thought it was you get both heated and cooled or none. and perforated leather is standard isnt it i have never seen a 2is without perforated leather. only problem with perforated leather is small pieces of dirt get stuck in the there and its impossible to get out.

if anybody has any ideas on how to get it out please let me know

I don't think perforated leather is standard, I could be wrong.

Yea I get little pieces of dirt in the little holes as well. How about using a toothpick to clean it?

You are correct, standard seating for the IS in the US is unperforated leather, but perforated is included in most of the popular option packages, so it's rare to see one on dealer's lots (at least around here) that isn't so equipped.

Outside the US (even in Canada), the standard seats for the IS250 are cloth.

I have never seen the non ventilated seat. I thought all IS comes with at least that pkg and bare bone IS is almost non existence. Must be special order?

I've seen one non-perf 2IS... it was the demo car at one of the local Lexus dealers.

It seemed a bit odd to have a completely bare car as your test drive vehicle, since it makes the car look kinda bad, but that's what they did.

Demo cars are usually fully loaded. It's kind of odd you ran into a barebone IS demo. Who'd want that?

I love my preforated seats.. I was amazed at how soft they were when i first sat in them. When i get little bits of dirt or whatever in them I just carefully use a needle to poke it out.
