Lip Kits
How easy is it to install and uninstall a Lip Kit(Front, Side, and Rear) for an 09 IS250??
I'm new to modding cars so am unfamiliar with the whole process....
My thing being that I leased an '09 IS250. Because of that I would need to put on a Lip Kit that would make it easy for me to remove and make unnoticable the day I would turn the car in.
I've had some folks tell me that because it's a lease I'm best off getting the OEM ones. But I would also like to see what other options I have.
Apreciate any feedback.

I'm trying to find the link, but I believe someone asked the same question a few days ago. The individual had leased a car and was wondering what "mods" he could do it (body kit, rims, etc) that wouldn't be too difficult to take off when the lease was up and he had to return the car.
I'm not too familiar with the OEM body kits for the 09. If they are similar to the 06-08 kits, then there really shouldn't be a problem. The OEM body kits for the 06-08 are fairly easy to put on and take off. The front is held on by double sided tape and some clips, while the side skirts are held on by some screws. However, the rear has to be installed through the use of a drill or dremel. You would have to drill and cut into your stock bumper if you want to install the OEM rear lip the "right" way. However, some members have avoided drilling or cutting into their bumper by simplly using 3M (5lbs.) double sided tape and taped the OEM rear lip onto the stock bumper itself.
Hope that helps shed some light for you. Good luck.

Venzon thanx for the link. Gonna check it out.
Initial G thanx for your response bro. That post may have been one I made last week where I was asking for some help on what to do with a leased car.
I want to do something to it, but make it easily reversible come time to turn the car in. I'm leaning towards the OEM kit, since it seems pretty easy to install and remove. In terms of the rear I think I would do the tape thing just to be safe.
thanx for responses so far.
anyone else?

Hey. Was looking for a front lip for my car.....I was told the lip is for the 06-08. As of now there are none for the 09-10. Contact Sewell if you have further questions.

Ok, I just spoke to a good friend of mine here in Miami that sells Lexus parts and he told me that the 09 OEM Lip Kits are not available yet. He said maybe in a month or so......
Guess I'm gonna have to wait.
In the mean time gonna work on getting some rims.... hehehehe
