Cool Freshly Detailed, New Wheels

So I spent a few hours detailing my car. Wash, clay, wash, polish, wax.

It's a 2007 IS350, Starfire Pearl. Today I went and mounted and installed my new wheels.

Volk Racing GT-S Phantom Edition. Matte Black lip with Formula Silver centers.

19x8.5 36 Front
19x9.5 37 Rear

Wrapped in BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW. 235/35 up front and 275/35. Minor rubbing on speed bumps, but not too bad. I was planning on ordering some coilovers, but now I'm not 100%. I know it needs a drop, but we will see.

On to what everyone wants to see! The pictures! Crappy cellphone pictures for now, better ones coming.

Yeah, we'll see. I have some coilovers in mind.

But here are some better pictures. I figured I'd throw on a couple coats of wheel sealant to help fight off road contaminants and brake dust.

Unboxing!

the dark lip really makes the wheels look small.

Anyway, nice wheels!!!

They actually don't look small in person. I see how looking at the top picture makes them seem smaller.

There is a difference in color between the tire and lip and, in person, you can tell them apart.

Those wheels are awesome. The only issue is that the black color of the barrel makes the tires look huge from a distance. Oh well, nothing that a good drop won't remedy.
