yeah, I'm afraid the tint wouldn't come out great

mine was taken apart. i took them apart myself. pretty simple.. just have some spare clips around. some break. here's a link to diy

it seems kind of hard to wrap around and get proper coverage behind the window sill. i assume if it doesn't go past the window sill, it'll just end up getting rubbed and peel.

I had Suntek 18% on my 2006 WRX, had it on for 2.5 years with no problems, no fading.

Just recently had my IS tinted 18% all around with Suntek. The guy was very professional, very experienced. He took off my door panels and did an excellent, I would say damn near perfect on all windows.
