Hey guys, I was looking in to installing air susp on my 2IS, is there a good resource page that lists all the pros and cons? I've searched on this for some time now and read various threads but nothing really complete.

-Is there a prefered kit for 2IS
-What are some important do's and don'ts
-What's the avg expected install time for a DIY project
-Are there any safety issues
-stuck in pancake mode
-sudden loss of air
-what to do if bags blow
-Are replacement or maint parts easy to come by or is everything special order

These are just a few ?'s I had. I would like to do this but I want to make sure it's done right the first time without damaging anything. I plan to use my 2IS as a DD (no track useage).

-Is there a prefered kit for 2IS - No it's all personal preference
-What are some important do's and don'ts - only thing I can think of is don't jack up the car while air is in the bags
-What's the avg expected install time for a DIY project - I would say a day if you know what you're doing
-Are there any safety issues - It's all installation, so take your time
-stuck in pancake mode - bad installation
-sudden loss of air - bad installation
-what to do if bags blow - bad installation, but if it happens then that corner sits on the floor and drags if you're not home
-Are replacement or maint parts easy to come by or is everything special order - most parts you can get from online

Hope that helps, my car is a DD and it's all about INSTALLATION

What can't a car be lifted with air in the bags? I've heard it before, but I don't understand why.

I've been told not to do it cause the bags being compressed could pop. But don't quote me on that. That was something I heard.

So that applies with bags, as well as cups? Hmm... Good to know man. I've been thinking about going air, too...

Oh yeah, btw here is a useful thread from the VIP section of CL:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/vip...-deciding.html

For me, it helped clarify some things.

I was told you can only jack up your car when your bags are at 20psi.
