Default New rims dont have centercaps, how to stop rush on hubs?

My Work Emotion CR Kais dont come with centercaps which leaves the hub/centercap area exposed. The fronts don't show any rust but the rear spindle nuts and threads have alot of rust.

1. What can I use to stop/hide the rust? (caliper paint, rustoleum?)
2. Would it be ok to paint the spindle nut and thread?

^not my car but same rims and same rusted area.

What about using caliper paint? Would it be ok to paint the spindle nut and thread?

Unfortunately their are no center caps for these rims. It would be impossible to fit center caps on the rears since the spindle nut and thread protrude past the rim.

I wouldnt do that just yet. Is the rims showing rust already? Maybe the wheels are just designed this way, and already has a coating to prevent rust. I think most have a finish to prevent rusting.

i gotta see your car! it seems like you got tons of mods done

I don't have center caps so the rust spots are eye sores.

The rims don't have rust, only the hub area (hub, spindle nut, thread) which peeks through the rims centercap area is rusted.

Yea, this month has been pretty fun. New rims, springs and bodykit. Just hit me up when your around Milpitas. Hope your still saving that Club Lexus decal for me!

I opted not having center caps as well, and the rust was a bit gross.... but then again my rims are bronze and so are rust
