Can't decide between G37 or IS350
I've been searching on the G37 forums and here on what people think. On the G37 forums it's pretty much even if price was the same. G37 is more fun to drive, but everything else goes to the IS. I kind of think the samething. The IS is no slouch, but comparing it to the G37, I like how the G37 feels more. What I really like about the IS is how smooth it is and that interior. What other reasons made you guys buy the IS or evne the G37?
I did a quick search and I couldn't find any comparison, but I only went throuhg the first 6 pages of threads, maybe I had to dig deeper?

I love both cars. Both cars are sexy. I love my IS but honestly if I could have afford a brand new G37 iI would have bought one. It is a bit slower than the IS350, I know cause I raced two of them and pulled. G37's do react better to bolt on's and dual after market intake sounds awesome! And G37's run much more aggressive wheels, 19x11 -1 FTW

"more fun" is totally subjective, so there's little folks here can do to convince you on that score.
As you observe though the IS350 is better in every objective measurement.... that, and the subjective impact of the vastly nicer interior, and the higher overall reliability of the brand, were all things that convinced me to get the IS350 over the G35 (37 wasn't out yet) when I bought mine.

Does anyone have any interior pics of their IS at night w/ the headlamps on? When I test drove the G37 at night, the lighting on the center console was some what annoying. Seemed like everything was to bright, want to make sur ethe IS isn't like that. I test drove the IS in the morning so I didn't get a chance to see what tha tlooks like.

I looked at the G37 and unless I've missed something, then yes, it's a 2 door coupe. So it's kind of apples vs oranges. That said, I chose my IS350 because it's a far better looking car than the Infiniti G series and currently the sleekest 4 door sedan in production under $60,000. The G35/37 has a bit more side support in the driver's seat, but the IS felt more solid and refined. No offense, but I've considered to Infinitis recently (G series and five days with an FX series) and just found the build quality a little hit-or-miss). That's just my two pennies, but do some research on Nissan/Infiniti and find out what kind of long term experiences people are having.
Side note: Where I live, the Infiniti G35/37 is more common than the Lexus IS. In my company alone, you'll find three to my one... but my car gets most of the compliments.

Like the others said G37 easier to mod and will have more selection of mods available to you. Also comes in a coupe body and feels like a better overall driving machine. The IS is more plush, probably more reliable and better put together but also much more common around the roads than a G37. The IS should be a little faster but only to a certain point. I think over 100mph the G might pull. The questions you mainly have to ask is if you prefer a 4door or a 2 door? Do you want more luxury driving experience or more sport? How much do you care about brand image? How much faith do you have in Infiniti reliability or if you care? And how much modding do you want to do.
