Believe it or not, the shop is pretty reputable (at least where I live = middle of nowhere). In fact, they are the ones who installed my springs, spacers, rear lip, and even my XM radio. Great prices too. So I was surprised when they said they couldn't do it.

Do dealers have alignment machines on underground bays? I have to go in for an oil change and might just ask them to do it there (provided it's not a $rip-off$).

might also be that they dont know how to do it. i seriously dont think you need an underground bay no matter how low you are. the guy im going to doesnt have a underground bay, just a regular lift. last time i was there he had a S2K about to be put on the rack. the car was barely an inch off the ground.

Try another shop. Looks for a place that specializes in aftermarket suspensions and such.

Maybe the shop in question was trying to align the car within Lexus Factory Spec.

If thats the case, its not going to happen with TEIN S-tech springs.

you need a shop that can get your car on the lift and also preferably with the paddle/laser alignment machines. The ones that just send a laser light to the checkered paddles on the wheels with no other plugs or cords.

Not the old school level and plug in units. those require that it sees across the front of the car and some cars lips dont clear the eyes.
