J Hao... I noticed where your compass is, there is no rectangular area of mirror missing so the compass can shine through. Other people in IS-F forum had it done and their mirrors are slightly different, with the compass in a very noticeable upper right hand area with reflective mirror missing. Does yours have a compass, can you retake the pic? I'm having mine replaced on Saturday. Now re thinking it.

what do you mean? I guess you want to have the compass as shown on your second picture? I do have the compass on the upper right corner. just press the bottom on the right. You will have it.
Just got it done this Sat and I can finally drive on the Freeway with the sunroof open all the way! It shakes very little and varies depending on speed, but at it's worst, I can still make out who is behind me easily. Before it was an up and down, up and down blur.. make the rear view mirror unuseable with the sunroof open, which was why I only had the sunroof open half way. Looking at the mirror, it's manufactured as Gentex, but who cares, it shakes like 95% less now. It's also nice that I can now turn off the compass too.

Is yours the new style mirror too? My dealer is still refusing to replace mine since it's already been tweaked from the first TSB. Grrrrrr.

^^ Yep, it's the one a couple posts up. Same mirror from the IS-C's. Have you tried a different dealer? Some may be more helpful than others. I'd sure bug the hell out of the dealer because my argument would be that the first LSB didn't fix squat and it still vibrated and shook like crazy, like as before. This new LSB should supercede the older one IMO.
I've got an appointment wed. but have already gotten the "We will have to road test your vehicle to verify the issue and also verify your VIN falls into the range" BS... so I want to have a copy in hand when I go down there... thanks
