Default 15,000 Servicing Question

My 08 IS250 is up to 15,000 miles and needs some servicing. When my car got to 10,000 I went to the dealer and I paid $200 to get the oil changed, tires rotated I think, and a bunch of other stuff I think is probably not needed. Would there be any harm to take the car to the dealer and just have them change the oil and not do any of that other crazy stuff?

Just called up the dealership and asked how much for a straight up oil change on a IS250. It'll cost $58 plus tax. That sounds alot better than paying $200 for the "15,000 mile servicing"......

Only thing else that needs doing at 15k is air and cabin filters.

You can do both yourself, in about 5 minutes each.

Why do you assume an IS250 in NJ is RWD, instead of AWD?

Quick question guys, if you DIY does the light turn off on the dashboard, or do you have to bring it back to the dealership for that?

I do indeed have an AWD. I decided I'm going to take the car to the dealer, but ONLY for an oil change, nothing else where the price isn't too bad.....

Well, I'm going to the dealer next week for a $58 oil change. It was either that or pay $298 plus tax for the 15,000 mile servicing but that is just waaayy too much. I think I'll just go find the DIY on how to change the air filter and whatnot.....
