I recently purchased an Fsport intake and now i see photos of all these intake boxes with the holes. I could SWEAR mine came void of these holes and did not sport those f sport logos molded on the box.

Is there a chance I just got a regular ol stock box with my purchase (bought right from dealer) or have there been changes? Hmmmm. If it was a stock box and was supposed to be a box like this pic of one I found in another thread
....then I need to take it back and get the real deal because I would assume these holes are essential to the sound one purchases this product for. Correct?

I'll take it apart and double check but gosh I'm sure it was identical to the stock box.

As I recall..the original box had only one hole, slanted plactic along the bottom....the fsport has two holes (and another for condensation removal), smooth bottom and fsport molding.

I'll check it out tomorrow but i'm 80% sure mine didnt have these two wholes nor the fsport molding on box.

I'm guessing you mean the small one (that the red arrow points to) that is for condensation? No, i mean the two big holes.

If your intake box doesn't look like the picture you posted, and the intake pipe isn't branded F-Sport, then you do not have the real F-Sport intake.

Hopefully i'm wrong. If when I disassemble this it is NOT the f-sport box, I hope the lexus dealer will make it right, if not simply do it for me (I installed myself) considering how much money I've thrown their way.

take it back to the dealer and complain if they did the wrong thing....

Here, next time there is a meet, ill race you and if your dosent sound like mine then you got the wrong box.

hey, that looks like the pic i took when i put my intake in!

anyway, how does it sound when it is installed? if you dont hear a big diff during WOT, its not it
