It's quite an extensive amount of work to change out the bulbs. You will need to remove the whole front bumper to access it.
DJ Amtrax did a pretty good DIY thread

Personally i dislike them. i find that when people want to change certain lights to led and white and it makes the car lose its character.

i have yellow parking lights, yellow DRL/Hibeam and yellow fogs. 6000k hid

i find white/blue led drl/hibeam is extremley retarded..its has absolutley no function
what so ever and it look cheap and ricey. LED indicators are only good when its a proper strip and not a single bulb.... i cant see how some of you like the cheap look of some mods there are out there...its a shame how tacky some people do up there lexus..

just my $0.02

If you want to simply just get either amber or white led turn signal bulbs and use your exsisting 7440 (oem) sockets with no mod then just get these in what ever color you want
amber

White

Good luck....and BTW to change the bulbs out, you have to remove the bumper to get access to the turn signal bulbs.

Thx bro (:

Is there any difference between 7440A and 7440? I heard the right bulb is 7440A but the only ones that I was able to find are 7440

you dont have to remove the entire bumper to swap them out. it helps to have two people when doing the install. i swapped all 4 of mine to vleds 7440/7443 white led bulbs. now they are nice and bright and white. only thing is that the leds draw less power, so my turn signals flash really fast now.

you dont have to get the flasher, thats only to equalize the wattage and keep them flashing at normal speed. if you dont care that they are flashing quicker, you dont need them.

i take it you just folded down the bumper and had some hold down for you. as for why they blink really fast it's because you need LED Load Resistors

7440A stands for amber. If it's just 7440 then they're the clear ones like for the rear turn signals.
