Default Tungsten pearl or Smoky granite mica?

Just wanted to see which color everyone prefers. I saw a previous poll with what color everyone had and tungsten pearl seemed to be the most popular

If you're referring to this poll, then SGM is the most popular, while TP is second most.

isn't the tungsten pearl also a unique kind of silver? I'm trying to decide between tungsten pearl and granite mica and still cant decide which looks better
granite mica looks cooler while tungsten pearl looks sophisticated

I had the TP on my AWD. I personally prefer the Millenium Silver on my 1gen to it as it was more vibrant. SGM seems to be the popular choice on CL. When it comes to paint, it is all a matter of preference. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and one person may love white whereas another loves darker colors.

IMHO, versions of plain silver are just too common around here, and I find them to be boring. I like the darker/deeper metallic silvers, my favorite is medium/dark "seal gray" metallic on Porsche products.

Since we are talking about paint colors, did anyone like the Solar Yellow gen1 IS300? I loved that car in that color despite it being loud. Too bad it faded fast.

Actually, not so much, at least at Lexus. My wife has a Tungsten Pearl ES350 and I have a Mercury Metallic ISF. Here's a picture I took over the weekend on an overcast day. When the two cars are side by side it's hard to tell the two colors apart. IMO, it's sort of cool to have two cars the same color

Do you want to get the most popular color, or do you want to get the one YOU like? Who cares what we all think?

it also depends on how much care you wanna put into your car too. a dark car will get dirty faster but it also looks nice when kept clean. i also think lighter cars tend to pop out more but i'm more thinking about the white cars.
