Default Coolant brand?

I am in need of new coolant, but was wondering which brand you guys would recommend I use. Is it best to use Toyota brand and which one, seems like there is green, red, and pink? Also I heard people saying to use Royal Purple ice or Redline Water wetter or something too. Thanks in advance.

you don't need to add Purple Ice or Water Wetter.

just stick with Toyota Long Life w/e liquid.

ToMoCo puts in sufficient cooling capacity in their cars.

It's not like a Honda

I hate to pop your bubble, but.........

00272-SLLC2 is the Pink Extra Long Life Coolant. It is also a pre-mix - means you don't add water. The number above is the older Red coolant.

Primarily because it isn't true.

You can't ship certain liquids, via certain methods, which I'd guess is what the original poster meant... but obviously you CAN ship virtually any liquid somehow. How else does it get to the places that sell it?

I'm curious why the OP needs it too though, since the OEM stuff is good for 100k miles.
