i don't think it will mess up the tail light surface, i guess it's just like tinting, but im not sure tho.

yep just like tinting, but if there is leftover residue just simply wipe off.

i would go with aerotect! hands down QUALITY.

I just did redouts & overlays a couple days ago. I had this same question in deciding who to purchase from as well, and started a thread like this. From what ppl were saying in my thread and also from searches, Rvinyl was the way to go. So I went with them.

I gotta say Rvinyl looks real good. I haven't seen Aerotect though. The Vinyl Protection Kit for the fogs are very nice. Just make sure you have a hairdryer on hand and some soapy water. That makes it much easier.

I bought mine from rvinyl about 2 weeks ago and i love mine. i always catch myself staring at the orange free tails when im walking around the back

i messed up a little bit on one of them but you dont notice unless your like standing a foot from it, but its a pretty easy install, just have to be paitent

The color match from Rvinyl is close to the OEM red. Aerotects are much darker in shade. I've had my Rvinyls on for a year and I'm 100% satisfied with them. I highly recommend them.

Yeah i noticed in pics that aerotects are a darker shade than the actual lenses, which makes it more noticable that something was placed on it, rvinyl seems to match up better

A trick is to clean the tail amber area with rubbing alcohol to allow for better install and reduce the potential for peeling down the road.
