I don't think any of the IS models are "hated" by any means. The AWD might not appeal to most because it's rarely needed unless in certain climates where road conditions come into play. But I don't see anything wrong with the AWD version, which is rare to me at least.

You guys need to pay more attention.

There's a huge thread about how useless AWD is.

And 99% of the threads where someone is asking about buying a 250, 90% of the responses are "BUY A 350 the 250 sucks!!"
