How many of ya running with 5mm spacers disc in the rear? I put them on the rear and then I used a torque wrench (80Lb) to keep the aftermarket lug nuts tighten safe.. Do ya think is it safe with stock studs? 5mm spacers are not thick.. Give me a opinion of good and bad...
i think it will be okay. i have friends running 5mm in the front and rear...
"people" say anything under 15 is okay
The 2" studs Lexus uses are shorter than most of the ones in use by the majority of manufacturers. The maximum spacer you'd be able to safely use is less than 10mm. Once you hit 10mm, you need to swap the studs out for longer ones.
But you must all remember the studs are not the most important part of the wheel staying on correctly its the hub. The wheel must be snug on the hub. Just in case you didn't know.
btw your car "cleaning" method...... i couldn't do it.... lol... was too scared to do it
LOL, I don't blame you. Joe Z still can't believe I do this to my car...

Very true, which makes your selection of which "spacer" or "adapter" you use very important...

if you want to be safer maybe you should just get longer studs. with that you can have a peace of mind even it's only 5mm spacers.
