Default HID fog lights brightness questions

Hi everyone

I just installed my Retro-solutions 3000k 35W fog light conversion kit. It's really bright, but I'm afraid it's too bright. With only my OEM lowbeams on, the light coverage from the driver's side point of view has good cutoff and very white light. With the lowbeams and fogs on, the coverage is slightly wider and higher. The OEM white light gets taken over by the fogs, resulting in slight yellow light everywhere.

Does the resulting "higher" yellow light mean the fog lights are aimed too high? I'm afraid it might blind oncoming driver's. Also, is it normal to have slight yellow light instead of part white, part yellow?

The looks from the outside are great though Also, I had my friends sit in their car facing me from a distance. They said it's not blinding, but I don't know if I trust them.

Thanks

edit: I have a 2007 IS350 with OEM hids.

it's very normal for HID 3000k fogs to overpower the lowbeams as without projectors, they tend to aim higher without a cutoff line. besides, fog lights are for you to see THROUGH fog as they were designed. so they will definately overpower either way. The fact that they are so low to the ground won't cause significant glare if any. the reflector housing is pretty far into the lens and curves significantly that the angle the light's reflected wouldn't cause glare.

3000k is also very yellow with little to no white. this is a completely normal color and many cars have fogs like this. take a look at the 1IS (IS300). Their halogen fogs are yellow. you have nothing to worry about in terms of brightness, glare and color as long as you're happy with the results.
