According to the 09 spec sheet i got from lexus dealer there will be a facelift on the 09. Signal light will be added to the side mirror, front grill will be different and bumper will be slightly different as well. We didn't say he was lying, we just expect to see those changes on the 09.

Edited since Mr Jpg posted again before I got to finish this-
You could tell it's the Canada what's new sheet, because the moonroof isn't optional at all on US spec cars (except for the X package without moonroof option) while in Canada the "base" car has no moonroof... and the sport pkg isn't offered on the 250 here.
Not sure what else would be different in the US vs. Canada for these changes...possibly NOT the tire change would be one thing that seemed likely.
I'd imagine the bumper, grille, and maybe the side mirrors will swap onto older cars just fine and appear on both sides of the border
The wallet sized key was always available as an option, just buy the one for the LS and it programms fine for an IS...seems like it'll only be standard on the 350 from the above... be nice if this causes the part to be cheaper though for the older-model guys who haven't done it yet.

The 2009s (as confirmed by a dealer in Beverly Hills) are not being released until Sept-Oct.
I am curious how you have one already.....
Some one is lying, I am not saying it is you. You might want to check with your dealer or who ever you purchased the car from.

Here in Jacksonville, FL the dealership also said it would be released in Sept-Oct. I was at the dealership yesterday talking to sales about trading in the 03IS300 for an 08/09 IS350.
