Default IS 350 Power Steering Sticking/Hanging Up

Hello, I have a 08 IS 350. On the way home I noticed the steering seemed to hang up like a dry bushing. This caused the car appear to wander with constant over correcting. It has continued to get worse and now slicks when going around corners at any speed. We have experienced it going 15 mph in a mail parking lot and 70+ on the interstate. When it occurs the car will not center as you would normally expect it to, so you will have to apply input to the steering wheel to overcome what ever is hanging it up and then this casues you to over correct. We have taken it in 3 or 4 times and have been told they can not duplicate the problem. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks

Same here. I recently had a road force balance done at the dealership which didn't prevent the car from wandering, but the corrections are now more accurate, and I seem to over-correct less now. So it's better, but there is still room for improvement. I am going to have the dealer take a look next week, so we'll see if they can find anything.

I had that problem of the steering sticking at turns randomly no matter what speeds too, but ever since I got my springs installed it went away. I used to think it was the rust because the people who did my springs were polishing rust off everything and blowing rust out from the screw holes and components.

Yeah I have this problem too (07 IS350 X-package) but it occurs very infrequently for me and not as severely. But I'm still not sure if it really is an issue with the steering or if its just a little bit of tramlining. I've been trying to pay attention to it when it does happen and I do feel as if it is something wonky with the steering.

The point is, we all have, and they don't know what is going on/think it is 'within spec', or can't diagnose the problem.
