I like your security guard in your passenger seat good simple mods so far....sometimes it's easy to go overboard and ruin the look of our IS. Keepin it simple works 10x better.

It is a super easy DIY job and there are 2 ways to do it. All you need is heat resistent Matte Black spray paint.
1st method (what i did) - when the car is lifted just after the installation spray the muffler on any surface that is likely to be seen...very carefully as to not get over spray on anything.
2nd methond - if the exhaust is not already installed you can tape off the tips and spray the mufflers.
obviously if the exhaust is already installed you're going with the 1st method.
