Black Mufflers really improve the look of the Tanabe exhaust IMO

IMO, simple/light mods look best for the 2IS.

You got one nice looking clean ride there, love the wheels.

I definately agree that simple mods work the best for the 2IS, that's why i stuck with just the essentials

I like your security guard in your passenger seat good simple mods so far....sometimes it's easy to go overboard and ruin the look of our IS. Keepin it simple works 10x better.

Car looks shiny and clean. Wheels look good from the 1st pic. How come you don't have front and back license plate?

Excellent wheels! I had those on my E36 M3 and loved them, you just have to watch out for potholes, especially in California.

Default Simple is Good

Nice!

Your "essential" mods enhance the look of your already beautiful IS rather than altering it too much.

I'm striving for a similar goal

Q: how do you have black mufflers with your tanabe?

It is a super easy DIY job and there are 2 ways to do it. All you need is heat resistent Matte Black spray paint.

1st method (what i did) - when the car is lifted just after the installation spray the muffler on any surface that is likely to be seen...very carefully as to not get over spray on anything.

2nd methond - if the exhaust is not already installed you can tape off the tips and spray the mufflers.

obviously if the exhaust is already installed you're going with the 1st method.
