Default new IS350 noobie intro

hello everyone! i been lurking the forums for about two weeks and decided to take the plunge. the wealth of information i get from this forum is staggering. i bought my is350 from larchmont, ny 3 weeks ago and i love this car. but the dealer put this dealer decal/sticker thingy (is that what is called?) right next to the rear license plate that is driving me nuts. i don't really feel like advertizing for them on my car... i tried to take it off with my hands but it won't come out. if anyone knows how to get this off i'd really appreciate it.

also i have a question regarding winter tires. mine came with the summer tires and i'm planning to get a set of winter tires. what do you guys recommend? is there a place in queens or nassau county where i can get the tires and have it mounted?

thanks and have a great day!

I got stuck with one of those too. I asked my tint guy to take it off. They do great detailing so I knew they would ease it off without damaging the paint.

I've been starting to think about the winter tires too. I don't see 18" Blizzaks on Tirerack.

welcome to the CL! a hair dryer should take off the sticker...if any residue is left goo-gone will take care of that.

Use Bug and Tar if you are nervous but goo gone is fine. Be sure to rinse it off what ever you use.

use a hair dryer like others said....with the goo just give your ride a good wash and you won't even need the goo removal stuff. Oh ya enjoy your ride and post pics!

Take it back to the dealer with a contract detailing your advertising fees. They will take it off for you.
