Default AWD and RWD Floor Mats ?'s

I am thinking about buying floor mats from a fellow CL member here(Great Price). the thing is he has an AWD and I have a RWD. I know there is a difference but is it only driver's floor mat that is different or is all the mats different?

And should I buy it since he selling it for such a low price?(Assuming that only the drivers floor mat is different)

Thanks!

Don't get them. Look on mats.com--you will see the difference.

there's a huge difference, the dealership gave me an AWD set for my IS350 and let me tell you I wasn't a happy camper. The AWD looks so stupid in a RWD. Everything else looks the same except for the driver matt, which as someone stated, has a big cutout.

Like the other members have stated, do not buy them. It really comes down to a safety issue rather than aesthetics. You want the exact fitting floor mat to avoid any confliction with the gas and brake pedal which could potentially cause an accident if the mat becomes lodged under the pedals. this happens quite often. Furthermore, never put the rubber mats directly over the OEM carpeted ones, remove the carpeted one and then place the rubber. AWD has a large notch on the drivers side to accomodate the transfer case on the right side of the drivers floor mat. mats should be $110 at your local dealer.

Get ExactMats from Ebay for $80. Specify RWD, they are a perfect fit.

I'll post some pictures later, but I bought some weather tech floor mats from a newer year model IS and he threw in his floor mats with them. All of them were different sizes to what my car came with and didn't fit my car, but the weathertech mats did. So I guess he was running the wrong mat. I'll post a pic up later but on the back of the mats there's a year chart. I think 09 and up may have had a floor redesign

The 2IS floor shape did not change between years (with the exception of the 2015 IS C). While there were some changes to the mats over the years (colour, etc.) any year 2IS mat will fit any other 2IS as long as you get AWD/RWD right.

Hm so I guess sorry for misleading you lol. I can't imagine the guy I bought the mats from having RWD instead of AWD especially up here in Canada and being from a 250 as well.

Guy wirh the AWD weather tech floormats gave me these mats as his old originals and they dont fit my car. So maybe they are for another car?? ?
