15,000 Mile Service
Hi All,
I had my 15,000 mile service done at the dealership for my IS350 about 2 weeks ago. I just washed my car for the first time and noticed that they swapped my rear tires for my front tires. I know this can't be right because the rears are bigger than the fronts. Now Monday I will call the dealer and throw a fit cause I'm wondering what else they messed up on.
I already put on about 200-300 miles since the service, should I be worried about any damage?
Also they claimed that my front brakes were down to 4mm and that I should have them replaced. When I received the checklist they were still at 5mm. Doesn't that seem a little too early to replace the brakes?
Thanks.

Yes. I drove the LFA.

15k is a bit early for brakes. I would ask them to do a full re-inspection. We've had a few entry level techs accidently swap the wheels like that, but we always catch it before it leaves. Sorry to hear of your bad experience. Im sure the dealer will be quick to fix it.
As far as any damage, i dont think you have anything to worry about. Ask them to inspect the wheel wells to see if the larger tires in the front rubbed anything.
