Default Service Inspections

Why are we paying for Lexus to inspect parts that are under warranty??

If you take your car to Lexus for an oilchange the inspections cost more than an oil change!

That's why people do the work themselves or if you must have them done by the Lexus dealer, just have them do the individual work instead of the "service" package. They'll do whatever you want them to do.

Another way to part with our money. Checking tire pressure constitutes to an inspection. Next time tell them just to change the oil and filter only! Or take it to a reputable auto shop to work on it!

Absolutely,

Lexus loves to add inspection packages to basic items to make money as expected. These are unnecessary and are often never performed.

Wear and tear isn't covered as part of the warranty. And even if it's under warranty, do you really prefer to find out it needs replacing while suffering a failure on the road?

I see nothing wrong with inspections as part of a service interval. It's the high per hour charges and rates that are the bigger issues.
