Default Just got tapped on my rear bumper!

so last week. I got tapped on my rear bumper here in San Francisco. I parked in front of my friends house and I purpose parked in a driveway in the front and a driveway in the back so people won't tap my car. When I came back out, I saw a big scratch and dent from far away. My car is only 2 month old It already got hit! ugh. I am looking for a body shop to fix it but then all I got were quotes over $300+. The pictures attached doesn't show the dents. There are 2 dents left by probably the license plate of the stupid ***. And also a big 1 inch scrape which the paint is totally gone. What do you guys prefer me to do? I really don't want to drive around with a ugly dent. People seriously need to learn how to drive now a days. Stupid F*ks.

That sucks ... i would probably just leave it and the most i'll probably try to do is touch it up because realistically there would probably be more down the line. Parking in between driveways is probably safer than between cars but there are those owners of the driveways that will always try squeeze there car within the driveway.

yuck, the first scratch is always the most painful it all depends on how much it bothers you whether or not you should take it to the body shop. perhaps try using a touch up pen first to see how it turns out. other people probably will never even notice it. unfortunately you will always know its there and will probably bug you to no end which is usually the case. if you don't like the results of the touch up, the body shop is always another option and you will have only wasted like 10 bucks on the touch up. GL with the bumper.

could be worst. i feel for ya. it's hardly noticable unless you're looking straight at the bumper though. you could get some touch up paint and cover it up.

You also have some minor spider marks above the scratch/dent. get some bugtar cleaner to remove the marks and some scratchX to remove the minor scratches. that'll fix that.

i personally can't tell if your scratch is dented or just really deep into the primer and possibly the plastic. though it wont do much, some scratchX to polish it and some wax can make it slightly less apparent. other than that, really you should just leave it unless someone hits you really hard that your entire bumper is ruined or there's more scratches.

thanks for your input guys. I will try the touchup pen. But I can't get rid of the 2 dents made by the license plate. It will still be there.

There is no more scratches on the car. That is the clear bra for the preferred accessory package from lexus. which clear bra the top of the bumper.
